Implementing a holistic, data-driven safe system for all road users - requirements and criteria, challenges and best practices

When: 13 June 2025, 13:00 – 15:00

Where: online

The EC-funded project EvoRoads (Evolutionary Solutions for Realising a Holistic Safe System Approach for All Road Users) is committed to advancing EU’s Vision Zero initiative by implementing a comprehensive Safety Assessment Framework that integrates innovative models, tools, and services to dynamically monitor the road infrastructure performance as part of the “Safe System” approach. EvoRoads’ methodologies and technologies will be validated in four Living Labs addressing diverse road user scenarios across urban and rural environments.

The main objective of this workshop is to present the first results of the EvoRoads project on requirements for innovative solutions for road safety assessment, defined in co-creation with the Living Labs’ stakeholders, and to gather valuable feedback from related projects, invited to present alongside their approach and progress to date. The workshop will be the opportunity to initiate a clustering of projects working on complementary topics, and to exchange useful insights with these related initiatives.
