The EvoRoads project is proud to announce that it has officially joined the EU Road Safety Cluster, a collaborative initiative bringing together multiple EU-funded research and innovation projects dedicated to transforming road safety and automated mobility across Europe.

The EU Road Safety Cluster is a strategic platform formed to address the complex challenges of road safety in urban environments by uniting efforts across cutting-edge initiatives. The Cluster promotes a safe, inclusive, sustainable and user-centric mobility system, leveraging advanced technologies, data-driven solutions, and human-centred design principles to enhance safety for all road users—including pedestrians, cyclists, and individuals with reduced mobility.

By joining this dynamic collaboration, EvoRoads will contribute its expertise in digitalising transport infrastructure and proactive safety assessment services, which are central to identifying and mitigating risk factors across diverse transport contexts. Our work developing a connectivity platform for infrastructure monitoring and advanced safety assessment aligns closely with the Cluster’s shared mission of deploying innovative solutions and supporting the EU’s Vision Zero goals for road safety.

Participation in the EU Road Safety Cluster will enable EvoRoads to engage in joint activities and exchange knowledge with fellow projects such as V4SAFETY, AI4CCAM, EVENTS, SOTERIA, CAMBER, FRODDO, HEIDI, PHOEBE, iDriving, ProtAct-Us, and SAFETeen, all striving to improve safety outcomes through collaborative research and innovation. Through shared webinars, workshops, and strategic dissemination efforts, the Cluster accelerates the development and uptake of impactful solutions across Europe’s transport ecosystem.
