When: 23 June 2026 13:30 – 16:30 CEST
Where: Scipione Bobbio Graduation Hall, Unviersity of Naples Federico II
The PHOEBE project is hosting its Final Conference on 23 June 2026, from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm as a workshop held as part of the 10th International Road Safety & Simulation Conference (RSS2026) in Naples, Italy. Registration for the RSS2026 Conference is required to access the workshop.
Overview of the Final Conference
The Final Conference aims to promote the results of the PHOEBE project through an interactive workshop format. The workshop will primarily introduce the innovative PHOEBE framework, which has been developed to support cities in forecasting and improving urban road safety through the integration of state-of-the-art safety assessment tools.
In addition, key findings from pilot implementations and simulation activities conducted in Athens, Valencia, and the West Midlands will be presented.
The presentations will also showcase the interactive tools developed within the PHOEBE project. These demonstrations will illustrate how the framework enhances micro-simulation capabilities to provide predictive insights into safety impacts for vulnerable road users, supports safety-oriented decision-making, and delivers evidence-based recommendations and tools that can be adopted by other European cities for strategic planning and policy-making.
